Vettel in Similar Position Like Schumi - Ecclestone

Victory Sebastian Vettel who continually make the F1 season is feared to be boring. F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone assessing the contrary, while comparing with the glory era of Ferrari's Michael Schumacher together first.

Of the eight series that has gone this far, six of which can be won by Vettel. Red Bull driver was even just a pair finish second in the series remaining.

Achievements of the German youth is then reminiscent of Schumacher's pace in 2004 when he won 12 of 13 first series of the season.

While we were victorious-prime, Schumacher - Schumacher greeting - often accused had designed many F1 fans are so tired of constantly winning. Now a similar thing could potentially be reaped Vettel, remembering the last few seasons of competition between drivers is actually relatively more stringent.

"Sebastian is in a position similar to Michael," I Ecclestone was quoted as saying on ESPN F1.

Ecclestone himself immediately dismissed the notion that the race this time so boring with the dominance of Vettel. According to him, still there are interesting aspects before the race began.

"Sebastian is the best at the moment and that's why she dominates, and it was exciting for the fans because every race weekend starts with a big question mark, who will be able to beat Vettel? That's why fans still loyal to watch," Ecclestone value.

He also assess if the current pace of Vettel even more impressive than Schumacher's first. This is because currently Vettel get tougher competition than the great drivers that exist today.

"It makes the victory even more meaningful Seb. Era Red Bull could have been born, as it owned a Ferrari moment with Michael," he mention it.

Bernie looks to defend Vettel is considered as a magnetic pole on the racecourse. He asserted, why there should be no era of Red Bull today, just like when Michael Schumacher with Ferrari.

Vettel was very dominant at all until this eighth series. Her achievements, won the 6 series and finished second two other series this season, the total value of 186 points and vastly superior points equal to 89 Jenson Button (McLaren) and Mark Webber (Red Bull). With this condition, say Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) and Fernando Alonso, who took turns winning races, while Vettel continued to finish second, then the world champion with ease maintenance.

According to Ecclestone, "You can not hide talent. He had an easy chance to win because it has everything in hand to do so. Maybe Vettel conditions like now, others do not."

Problem of the world champion, in particular, which is currently less bright, Ecclestone said: "They (the world champion) it just shows the success, money and popularity. That's why I complain about Fernando Alonso, who in my view it does not represent good enough F1 . "

Button and Hamilton Dissatified with The Car Perfomance

Targeting can come back to win, Lewis Hamilton should be satisfied with finishing in fourth position. Together with team-mate Jenson Button, Hamilton demanded his team immediately undergo a upgraded car to be competitive again.

McLaren Mercedes before the closest competitor Red Bull this season. Following two victories in China and Canada, the target to be really beat Red Bull is likely to materialize.

But in the European Grand Prix on Sunday (26/06/2011) yesterday Mclaren Mercedes fails to demonstrate its competitiveness. Their position as the closest competitor Red Bull actually taken over Ferrari, Fernando Alonso who managed to take second place finish.

Hamilton who finished fourth and Button who finished the race in sixth obviously not satisfied with these results. Both are hoping there will be upgrades to improve the performance of the car in the next races.

"I think we lost down force. We do not make the upgrade for several weeks. Before we perform the upgrade on the front wing, but for the down force on the rear of our difficulties with it," said Hamilton in Austosport.

Similar statements came out of the Button. Should there be no progress either in terms of aerodynamics or the other, the next series in England will be very difficult for the two McLaren Mercedes.

"We need a few upgrades. We need to continue to head down and increase the ability of the car. The aerodynamics I think we need to progress at Silverstone because we did not step forward, and that's what we should focus on. I do not know if there will be new equipment coming , but we need more, "said Button.

Ferrari Catching Up to RedBull

Fernando Alonso failed to beat Sebastian Vettel in the mat dominance of the European GP at Valencia. Despite only finishing second, Ferrari champion was satisfied because the 'Prancing Horse' mount increasingly competitive.

Alonso struggle to finish in second place is not easy. Starting the race in fourth he immediately pushed into third position just after the start.

The Spaniard was then involved a long rivalry with Mark Webber and overtake each other when I had to go to the pit stops. When touching the finish line, former double world champion was sitting in second position, splitting the Red Bull duo with a champion Sebastian Vettel and Webber in the top three.

"That's an interesting fight for the fans and audiences on television, to see the battle throughout the race by Webber. At the beginning of the race I was behind it, I try not lagging too far, and profited by pitstop and had the opportunity pass," said Alonso after the race .

This is the second time this season Alonso finished runner-up, after the first in another street circuit in Monaco. Failure champion Alonso was not disappointing because overall it has a greater meaning in which he and Ferrari increasingly close distance with Red Bull.

"The second position is the maximum we could be today, so it is between Red Bull Racing is a great achievement ....," up Alonso in Autosport.

"Obviously we walked in the right direction and will be increasingly closer with them in the next races. We know all our fans expect us to win. Currently we are not in that position. We're getting closer and closer."

"In our first few races left 1.5 seconds, is now only one-sixth or one-seventh of seconds, so we managed to cut it. We will not stop working to maximize the performance of the car," due diligence.

Vettel Dominate "No Incident Race" at Valencia

Sebastian Vettel extraordinary performances continues during F1 race in Europe that took place in Valencia, Spain, Sunday (26/06/2011). He managed to win the race took 57 laps without getting resistance, from both Ferrari and McLaren, and finish the race with a total time of 1 hour, 39 minutes and 36.196 seconds.

Sebastian Vettel dominance in Formula 1 competition this season continues. Got lost in Canada, he is back to being the best in the European Grand Prix and won his sixth race this season.

Vettel led the race from the start that he did it perfectly. Even when three pit stops doing anything, the German rider was still able to maintain its leading position. Even Alonso left 12 seconds more.

Sixth and seventh victory in the pole position this season is making increasingly strong position of provisional standings with 186 points. He was ahead 77 points with second place inhabited by Jenson Button (McLaren).

Europe won the second place Ferrari F1, Fernando Alonso, who raced with high morale. Towards the second pit stop, he was able to bulldoze Mark Webber even after entering the pit back into third position.

However, in the third pit stop, when he was second-Webber entered the pit stop because the third-Alonso can maintain both positions. He has devoted his driving ability exceeds the limit. He had once cornering too wide for a distance with Red Bull is not too far away.

As for his teammate Vettel, Webber, had to settle for third. In this race he made a perfect start. Only, he was unable to compete with Alonso.

Race at Valencia is quite special because there is almost no incidents. All racers are also able to finish the race.

With this victory, Vettel has won six of eight series earlier this season. He just failed to win in China and Canada only.

Vettel still leading the championship, which stood at 186 points. Jenson Button and Mark Webber to share second place with a collection of 109 points. Lewis Hamilton in fourth place with 97 points, while Fernando Alonso, who collected 87 points in fifth position.

The Race Story

57 lap race that took place off the Red Bull duo soared smoothly. Unexpectedly, Felipe Massa managed to poke into the third position over Alonso and Hamilton. However, when broken into the first corner, Alonso can take back the third position from the outside.

Until lap 4, the leading formation has not changed, still held Vettel followed by Webber, Alonso and Massa. Even Vettel fastest time 1:45,186. Racing into the fifth lap, no changes in the top five. Stay ahead of Vettel Webber with the advantages of 2.131 seconds, followed by Alonso, Massa and Hamilton. Competition took place in Button who tried to overtake Nico Rosberg. The effort succeeded Button on lap six the first corner.

Vettel's performance driven RB7 incredible fast. On lap eight he left his colleague from the difference between 2.8 seconds to 3.04 seconds. Alonso remains the third tried to approach the Webber who lost power to swing too wide to get stuck into the corner.

Apparently, the four leading riders perform at least two pit stops. That's because Hamilton became the first pulled into the pits on lap 13, then Webber followed one lap later. While Vettel and Alonso get together on lap 15.

After Massa entered the pit on lap 17, Vettel again be at the forefront. He was followed by Webber, Alonso and Hamilton.

From lap 18, Alonso tried to suppress Webber. In particular he is trying to bend close to braking. Webber bulldoze his efforts will be done on lap 21 in turn 12 with the help of DRS.

On lap 25, Hamilton entered the pits and dropped from fourth place finished sixth behind Vettel, Alonso, Webber, Massa and Button. Webber to pit a second four laps after Hamilton, on lap 29, and put on soft compound tires.

Alonso followed into the pits one lap later. However, both were taken Webber's position when he returned to the track. It is precisely the strategy Vettel made pit stops on lap 31 extraordinary great. Working quickly change the tire makes the team can maintain its leading position.

Massa Pitstop conducted on lap-32 is rather problematic. He also lost time and slipped to fourth position when exiting the pits.

Until lap 36, Vettel was still leading by 1.443 seconds advantage over Webber. Alonso, Hamilton, Massa and Button is behind them.

Racing entered the monotony. Alonso could only liven up the race in its efforts to pursue both Red Bull cars. While Hamilton and Massa was fourth and fifth lag of 25 seconds is more than Vettel.

On lap 43, Team Red Bull Webber entered the pit and instructed all four wheels replaced the medium compound tires. Position of the second ranking down a notch behind Alonso who are new to lap-46 pit.

Alonso Ferrari tactics ordered into lap-46 pit is quite telling. When he returned to the track in a position of traffic, plus the speed of the team to change a tire, making Alonso could maintain the second position. Only, with Vettel who does not enter his third pit within 28 seconds more.

On lap 48, Vettel pit. Because far enough ahead of Alonso, his status as leader of the race remained unfazed. He's still 8.6 seconds ahead of Alonso and Webber.

When they do start with a smooth, finished 1-2 it is not possible to record without any distractions. Or, if you do a bad start, a chance they could be brushed by Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) and Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) who occupy the third and fourth start.

While last year's champion, Jenson Button (McLaren), must start from sixth position. British rider is accompanied by Felipe Massa of Ferrari who are so hungry for victory. New Challenges on Tyres

New challenges await the teams of participants in the F1 race in Valencia this weekend. For the first time, contestants will use a pole racing medium tires as the main tire.

As quoted by Autosport, F1 tire supplier Pirelli as established that the European GP at Valencia street circuit will use mediums tire PZero named White. Meanwhile, soft tires would be an option.

Director Paul Hembrey Pirelli tires explain the reason for establishing the medium at Valencia street circuit. "The use of tires in this circuit might be quite high because the circuit layout, a natural surface track, and also the weather conditions that might be very warm," said Hembrey.

"For all these reasons, we chose the medium and soft tires, which will give the team a good level of resistance, a lot of strategy choices and also record the time per lap difference between the two different compounds it."

Indeed this is the first time that the medium used tires in official races. But teams have been using these tires in Friday's practice sessions throughout the Canadian Grand Prix two weeks ago.

Lotus team's technical chief Mike Gascoyne considered that in general what is shown is quite satisfactory tire. He hopes the drivers can maximize the speed difference Lotus produced two different compounds it.

"The main Tires in Valencia later is the medium, which was first used in racing," said Gascoyne was quoted by CNN.

"We've tried it on Friday in Canada and the results are quite good. We will monitor further how the tire's performance in Valencia and we will see what the time difference between the main tires and tire choices for Saturday and Sunday sessions," he closed.

Lesson Learnt from Canada, Cautious in Upcoming Valencia

With a narrow path and small overtaking opportunities, the European Grand Prix presents a big challenge for Sebastian Vettel. Having failed in Canada, the world champion would not make the same mistake in Valencia.

Two weeks ago Vettel waste the opportunity to win the Canadian Grand Prix. A mistake that he made at the last lap, when his car twist in a corner, making the German racer Jenson Button was overtaken and eventually had to settle for a second podium.

Results in Kanda is so far not undermine the position of Vettel on top given the dominance he had throughout the season. The next race in Valencia ahead of Vettel trying to convince that he would not make similar mistakes.

"The atmosphere around the port in Valencia in Monaco similar, except the paddock which is wider and larger garage. It's a street circuit, but the average speed (200 km / h) is very high, it is trapped," said Vettel in Crash .

"There is no zone to escape, so you can not make mistakes - once you'll end up slipping on the wall ... Overtaking is difficult and only possible at the corner of the 12th," he continued.

Despite failing to win in Canada two weeks ago, the confidence Vettel to race at Valencia on Sunday (26/06/2011) future could be going to remain high. Because of last season he had a good record in the same place after winning the pole and finished the race in the top position.

"We had a great race there last year and overall the car should also be in good condition. I look forward to the race," Vettel finished.

One Mistake Took Off His Title for Canada GP - Vettel

Sebastian Vettel is the driver most disappointed, annoyed or irritated after attending a Canadian F1 race on Sunday (12 / 6) that characterized much drama "incident" due to slippery tracks. How not, victory is within grasp and live half a lap to be able to hold the cup, eh Jenson Button out of the hands because of his mistake. In the middle of the course chaos Canadian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel still appear convincing and continues to lead the race. But one mistake he made in the final laps denying the opportunity to be the real champion is in sight.

"Of course I'm disappointed. That's a very difficult race from start to finish, and we lead every lap until the last. I may be too conservative after the last safety car," said Vettel in a press conference after the race.

Except when entering the pit, Vettel always led the race since the start lights turned on. Impaired driving rain, the repeated safety car took to the track and race that was stopped two hours did not make the world champion in pole position unshakeable.

Called Vettel, he's performed very well in the overall situation and flawless. German rider was even felt himself only made one mistake, which unfortunately just happened in the last lap and be fatal because the real title is in sight drift into the hands of Jenson Button.

On the last lap Vettel who were under pressure Button failed to control his car on a bend. Red Bull mounts twisted Vettel and Button did not waste this opportunity to grab pole position and hold it up to touch the finish line who lives just a few corners.

"Maybe I was too conservative when the safety car led the last in a condition still lead. Guides When the car will go, I can not open a gap (space) and close the gap with the cars behind as I did before-before," said Vettel.

"I braked a bit late. It was a tough finish in a tough race, I could see especially in the last sector, when Jenson was very close and chase me."

"That's a long race, and also a long break. It's heavy and one of the most challenging in the year," commented Vettel finished the race that lasted four hours total over that.

Before long, he saw Button already is behind quickly. "I think it can handle the pressure until the end. It turned out, failed because I made a mistake. Too lock the rear wheels," he explained.

However, he added, when you've got something in his hand and gave it to someone else, "Obviously it's not a sweet feeling. But, I think, this is a good race for us all," said Vettel.

Button Wins Canada GP - Full of Drama

Button Wins Canada GP - Full of Drama

Jenson Button won the Canadian F1 Grand Prix full of drama collisions due to rain flooded the circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, Sunday (12 / 6) or Monday morning Indonesian time. His victory was achieved on the last lap, the result of mistakes Sebastian Vettel.

Well positioned to start the seventh, Button chance to win the Canadian GP was originally somewhat difficult. Apart from having to catch up the distance with the rider pole position, Button also had scattered due to incidents that involve him with Lewis Hamilton and punishment drive through penalty on lap-lap scratch.

Button's success is thanks to persistent struggle that began from the middle position. Even he had to undergo the drive through penalty. But with patience and support performance of the car and error Vettel, he can pick his first victory. With this result, was rated second position temporarily with 101 points.

"I do not know what to say. It's become a very emotional three hours from start to begin. There was the incident with Lewis, I can not see anything when he was leveling with me. I should apologize to him, and when that happens there is competition," said Button.

However much drama happened at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve does not necessarily make it surrender Briton. Back had suffered damage to his car after a bump with Fernando Alonso, world champion in 2009 had even managed to set foot on the top podium after overtaking Sebastian Vettel on the last lap.

"I got a drive-through (penalty) for speeding during a safety car. On the last lap I was chasing Sebastian Vettel and he widened in one part of the circuit and I take advantage of it."

"It's fantastic victory, even if they do not win I still would enjoy it. That's incredible victory and perhaps the best," the Briton finished it in Autosport.

Red Bull racer Vettel whose on victory lap was vanished because cornering too wide in the third corner. Error was not wasted by Button from second place. In fact, since the start until lap 69, he continues to lead without being able to pursue your opponent. Despite failing, he still leads the standings with a total of 161 points.

Third being captured by Vettel teammate Mark Webber. The Australian rider was competing with Schumacher even cut the line twice in the "chicane" so that he could in front of Schumacher. But, in straight point he could give back to Schumacher. But, ahead of the last lap, he can make sure all three positions.

Hamilton victim his own aggressiveness

The competition took 70 laps, starting with the driver is guided by the safety car (SC) because of wet track due to rain. Here, race car tire wear wet and no one dared to use this type of intermediate gambling.

When the SC car about to go pit on lap 5, Vettel started slowing vehicle for the cars behind them participate to reduce speed. Once passed in front of the pit, and Vettel skyrocketed, Alonso tried to overtake from the left and right, but failed. While Fellow teammate Vettel, Mark Webber overtake by Hamilton, so twisted and make the position of the Australian rider sag.

So is Button who entered the corner too wide 6, provide an opportunity for Schumacher to takeover. Hamilton again showed that aggressive driving style and he almost touched with Schumacher when trying to overtake. Hamilton carelessness must be paid handsomely, in which he touched with his team mate on lap 8 and the left rear tire broke out due to hit the barrier wall.

SC car entered. If Hamilton keeps going on, the grand jury was investigating her butting Webber. In addition, he is under investigation violated the speed when guided by the SC.

Now, the jury returned Hamilton to investigate themselves is like accidentally close Button space to the left. Button action can also correct it because he would enter the first corner. Finally, Button was convicted and must undergo a "drive through penalty" and its position slipped to 14th.

Regarding the incident with Hamilton, he admitted he could not look back. That looks just Vodafone rocket-red, but it could have been my rear wing, he said. He then shifted the car to the left following the racing line and collision.

"Lewis knew I did not do it intentionally. I also knew if he did not do intentionally. I've talked to him before the race restarted," said Button.

Remove lap 14, ahead of your competition began to boring. Vettel left Alonso 5 seconds more followed with Massa, Rosberg and Schumacher. Unless Button is infiltrating into the future, as well as Webber.

Ferrari erroneous weather forecast

On lap 18 Alonso and Button are both entered the pits. Both replace the intermediate tires. But rain has been running two laps back flushing the tracks, and both re-entered the pit exchange wet tires. Alonso's position back to the 8th, but there are five riders in front of him before they hit the pit instead of tires.

At the same time it rains, SC guide the rider on lap 20 for a third time. This condition is used Vettel to replace the tires, as well as Webber is all changing because of interference with the steering wheel lower teeth. Because of the rain without ceasing, the race was stopped on lap 25 and the red flag was unfurled.

Meaningful opportunities Alonso to return to position 2, is still open. The reason, several riders in front of him such as Kobayashi, Heidfeld, Petrova has not entered the pit to change a tire.

After restrained 1 hour 14 minutes, yet there are also signs of the race will begin. While it was already ahead of the evening. Approaching waiting almost 2 hours, the car had been instructed to use tire wet (wet), mean racing will begin.

Delayed 2 hours 04 minutes

Promptly at 15:50 (local time) or delayed 2 hours 04 minutes, the race begins with a guided SC. Alonso (8) and Webber (7) must show the maximum if you want on the podium.

Racing begins once a lap to the pit entrance SC-35. And just take two laps, SC came back from an incident in turn three. Alonso was trying to poke Button from the outside, now entered the bend by McLaren. Ferrari was twisted, and stuck in the corner and Alonso not to continue the race. Medium Button front left tire burst. He immediately entered the pit and change tires car snout. Racing released back lap 41 with presenting scenes "clashes" between Heidfeld who investigated the jury, was penalized Sutil drive through penalty because overtake SC.

Entering lap 50, getting far ahead of Vettel. While Massa is trying to shift the Kobayashi with my swing, it was Schumacher's advantage of space left and poked the second. But on lap 53, Schumacher changed the tires and dropped to fourth position.

Disaster went to Massa on lap 53 when he overtook on rider on the track straight, the car lost control due to slick tire life and hit the barrier wall. Luckily he was able to overcome the car and can continue, even though the front is damaged and immediately entered the pit and the front tire change.

Afterwards of four then, who tried to bulldoze Kobayashi Heidfeld in the second corner, but the muzzle of his car crashed into the rear of the Japanese rider. Before entering the third bend, wing cars loose Heidfeld go under and the car was like flying and hit the wall.

SC also signed with the formation Vettel followed Schumacher, Webber. Button stuck together tight. Competition tight snatch second position on the front line between the three racers. If Schumacher can maintain the position of the two who lived eight laps, this was his first podium.

Hamilton Confident for Canada

F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, who in Monaco and then in the spotlight because of his racing style is aggressive, determined to win in Canada on Sunday (06/12/2011). "The car should be comfortable on the track. We have a large enough engine power, the best KERS system, and good traction in the corner quietly," said former world champion in 2008.

Birth in Tewin, England, 26 years ago, it was judged that the McLaren MP4-26 is very fitting to the track in Montreal, Canada. Circuit itself is so special for him. Hence, he is hoping to win in Canada, let alone he has left behind 58 points from standings leader, Sebastian Vettel, who pocketed 143 points.

Hamilton is now the target of a statement related to the mass media in post-F1 Monaco. He criticized the jury's decision as a joke called a freak. Competitors call it a joke that "silly and stupid".

"Montreal is a very special place for me and here I'm in first position and won the first race in a career in F1," he said. Design, continued Hamilton, perfectly suited to the style of racing.

McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh agreed with Hamilton that the MP4-26 will achieve success at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

For the incident, Hamilton was already had an apology. However, he did not want to change his style on the track.

"Honestly, I'll never stop doing the way I race. That's how I do it," Hamilton said, as quoted Crash.

"That's what makes me here, that's how I am. I do not do it to hurt anyone or hurt anyone. I did it because I love racing. I feel like I can do it better than others," continued the 26-year racer.

"I am here to race and win. If I should lose that passion, then it would be a blow for the race," he continued.

"If the time comes where I must resign, the race for fourth or fifth place and just get around, it does not make me interested and I probably will not last for that," said Hamilton.

"Ultimately, this is a motor sports and we should see the race. Not many drivers who do overtake at Monaco, and I try to do that. Unfortunately, the crash made me hit a few penalties," he finished.
