For the incident, Hamilton was already had an apology. However, he did not want to change his style on the track.
"Honestly, I'll never stop doing the way I race. That's how I do it," Hamilton said, as quoted Crash.
"That's what makes me here, that's how I am. I do not do it to hurt anyone or hurt anyone. I did it because I love racing. I feel like I can do it better than others," continued the 26-year racer.
"I am here to race and win. If I should lose that passion, then it would be a blow for the race," he continued.
"If the time comes where I must resign, the race for fourth or fifth place and just get around, it does not make me interested and I probably will not last for that," said Hamilton.
"Ultimately, this is a motor sports and we should see the race. Not many drivers who do overtake at Monaco, and I try to do that. Unfortunately, the crash made me hit a few penalties," he finished.
