Webber Lead, Nurburgring Race

Red Bull Racing, Mark Webber, took pole position both in the 2011 season, after winning the German Grand Prix qualifying on Saturday (07/23/2011). Webber beat the rival team McLaren, Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton's achievement is certainly a little surprising because all three free practice at the Circuit Nurburgring, McLaren appear less convincing. Team based in Woking is always in the back of Red Bull and Ferrari.

However, in the qualifying session to determine the starting position in the race Sunday (07/24/2011), Hamilton put an end to the dominance of these two rivals. 2008 world champion could beat the world champion in 2010, Sebastian Vettel, as well as the champion Ferrari, Fernando Alonso, who must be satisfied in the position 3-4.

Hamilton, who was in third position in Q1, continue to put pressure on and not give up. He had moved to fourth by Alonso, but when the remaining one lap longer, this British rider managed to improve the record time for a second, just 0.055 seconds adrift of Webber, who incised the best time of 1 minute 30.079 seconds.

Nevertheless, the overall Red Bull and Ferrari showed that their most favorite to win this race at Sachsenring. The reason, Alonso's teammate, Felipe Massa, also enliven the competition because she was ranked fifth, ahead of Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Jenson Button (McLaren), Adrian Sutil (Force India), Vitaly Petrov (Renault), and Michael Schumacher (Mercedes), who fought in Q3.
