Schumi Still Race on 2012

Seven-time F1 world champion, Michael Schumacher, end his rumors that he will retire at the end of this season. Schumacher said he will continue to follow the F1 race in 2012 for Mercedes team.

"I will continue to follow the race next year, that's for sure," said Schumacher at a Mercedes event in Berlin on Sunday (14/08/2011).

Rumors about the two Schumacher retired exhaled by an Italian newspaper. However, this statement is to stop talking rumors. Schumacher won his seventh F1 world champion in 2004 and retired in 2006. In 2010, 42-year-old rider was back with the Mercedes team.

However, the fate of Schumacher after 2012 remains to be discussed again as a three year contract will expire at the end of 2012.

"We'll see how it goes and how much energy and excitement was still in F1. It is presumptuous for anyone to expect us to fight for the title. In fact, today we are still far behind," said Schumacher, who is currently at number 10 standings with 32 points.

According to Schumacher, took the podium was the target next year. Schumacher Mercedes team has not been a burden to be a champion and still give him time to improve performance.
