Having successfully won his first points in F1, team rider Williams, Pastor Maldonado, promised to fight harder in the remaining seven series this season.
Newcomers from Venezuela is increasingly excited for being able to finish in the top ten in F1 Belgian series, after earlier start on back order because of a penalty.
"I will not relax, I'm a fighter. Throughout this season I've struggled with my team to improve the quality of the cars from series to series. Unfortunately, I did not get a good car at the start of the season so it made it hard won points," said Maldonado Tuesday (08/30/2011) in London.
Despite the difficulties at the beginning of the season, the last result at Spa-Francorchamps has raised confidence Maldonado and his team. Maldonado believes he will achieve positive results in F1 to dismiss critics who claim Maldonado become F1 racer since the intervention of the sponsors.
"I do not care what other people say. My team and everyone in F1 know who I am. Last year I dominated and won the GP2. This year, I will fight harder to win more points," said Maldonado.
Of the 24 riders who competed in F1, Maldonado ranks 18th with one point. In the category of constructors, the Williams team came in last of the nine existing teams with nine points.
