Sebastian Vettel won the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, Sunday (29 / 5) through the tense competition and the contest was stopped briefly on lap 72 due to the incidents experienced by some riders. When done restart, the driver Red Bull was finally able to complete 78 laps with a sharpshooter Pit stop strategy from the team.
In the sixth series of this race, Vettel demonstrate exceptional performance. Imagine, with just one world champion Pit stop 2010 was to finish the race with a total time of 2 hours 09 minutes 38.373 seconds. With five times victory out of six series, the top position in the standings while becoming robust with 143 points.
Occupied the second place driver Fernando Alonso of Ferrari. Since lap-60 he tried to suppress Vettel, but the effort stalled until the race was stopped on lap-72. If race is not terminated, another possibility would result.
Therefore, new Vettel once Pit stop condition worn tires. But, he could keep the car's speed, especially in the corners. Team Red Bull is right to run its strategy, namely by using soft compound tires at the beginning and then replace it with a hard on lap 17. Imagine, for 55 laps (until lap 72 when stopped), he was able to maintain the condition of the tires until the finish.
Who's Jenson Button won third place. McLaren racer is up to three times into the pit to use super soft tires. Even had led the race, although eventually had to settle for third podium.
Massa had an accident, Hamilton penalized
Under the air temperature 42 degrees Celsius, the rider to start smoothly without incident at the first corner. Alonso able to poke in the third pass stuck behind Webber and Vettel and Button.
According to the provisions, the first two laps riders are prohibited from using DRS. Locations outside corner use DRS to last crossed the start line. Until the 7th lap, Hamilton was in the order of the 10th kept trying to overtake Schumacher. But the narrowness of the track, making Hamilton who repeatedly provoked movements remain difficult Schumacher bulldoze former seven-times world champion.
Finally, new on the 10th lap Hamilton could over take. That, too, there seems to be a radio message from the Mercedes team to Schumacher. Through radio, Schumacher behind the wheel began to preach when peeling. On lap 13 the pit entrance instead of the front wing.
While Vettel still leading and Button tried to shorten the distance until lap 14, Alonso was only 1 second further behind Button. On lap 16, Button entered the pit and change tires dropped to fourth position. One lap later followed by Vettel, only he had used hard tire compound that can reach 35 more laps. When Vettel pit entrance, a small incident because Webber also go in the pit. Had been a confusion between Red Bull's crew. When re-entering the race track into the track so the second position, followed by Alonso on lap 18 and he still ranks third.
Mclaren strategy in the earliest change tires on the Button was fruition result in the mid race. He started the race leading on 18 laps and Vettel was behind him. But, on the second Pit stop strategy. Apparently, Button who use super soft tires to maximize the speed of the McLaren tried to leave Vettel out of 6 seconds more. Even until lap-32 McLaren ahead 13 seconds more than Vettel and secure enough to maintain the first position when entering the pit replace the tire.
Hamilton entered the pits on lap 23. When out, she was still scattered on the 15 th position.
Entering the 29th lap, leader of the race is still held by Button's quite far superior. The second and third positions are also still to be owned by Vettel and Alonso.
On lap 34, Button entered the pit using the super soft tires again. When entering the orbit, the third displaced position. Safety Car into a lap 35 as Massa crash on barrier in the tunnel. He was probably surprised because Hamilton came from the inside is so insistent, making his car did not have room to dodge. Hamilton's actions made him exposed to "drive through penalty" that run on lap 44.
Schumacher was also unable to continue the race due to smoke billowing from the engine. Alonso overtaking on the side of the pit straight into the tire change on lap 35. Stay ahead of Vettel who fared less well, because when Pitstop II distance with Button and Alonso are very close.
Safety car entered lap 40, Vettel was in front of the shadowed Button 3 seconds. Sign in lap 48, Vettel Button stuck in traffic and can stick under one second. On lap 49, Button entered the pit and soft tire change its position displaced by Alonso.
On lap 60, Alonso began to suppress the condition Vettel fourth start worn. While Button was looming duel 5 seconds behind Red Bull and Ferrari. Fun Stuff, sign lap 63, the distance Vettel, Alonso and Button are sticking together. Living alone who make mistakes.
Meanwhile, behind the three of them also there is competition fierce. Kamui Kobayashi, Webber, Adrian Sutil and vying for fourth place.
The third competition rider who hit each other it stopped on lap 69, when all three are stuck in traffic about four cars ahead of them of them had an accident. Starting from Maldonado (Williams) is overtaking Sutil, but Sutil hit the wall at the bend entry barrier. Later, two other riders have come after that.
With the entry of the safety car on lap 70, Vettel was saved from tire wear. But on lap 72, the red flag was unfurled and the driver stopped at the start / finish to restart.
New removable and not the road one lap, Hamilton was again nudged Maldonado. WAG Williams finally could not control the steering and hit the barrier wall.

Ferrari Fired They're Technical Director
Disappointing results in the Spanish GP was quick to react quickly Ferrari. "Prancing Horses" Aldo Costa removed from the position of technical director.
Ferrari arguably get a disgrace in the race at Catalunya last weekend. At that time they could not do much to see one of the riders who also double world champion, Fernando Alonso, dioverlap in front of the fans their own country.
These events seem to increasingly make Ferrari impatient, having less than satisfactory results are also achieved so far. So too must be willing Costa removed from the position of technical director.
Italian man was called Ferrari will assume other responsibilities in Maranello, although not yet found out where he will now be positioned.
"technical activity has been rearranged in three parts. Director of the affairs of the chassis is Pat Fry, the production is in the hands Corrado Lanzone while the affairs of the electronic machinery and equipment held by Luca Marmorini," added Ferrari in a statement reported by Reuters.
Ferrari Expected Improvement for Hard Compound Tires
Ferrari plans to conduct discussions with Pirelli about the possibility of further changes need to be there or not against the hard tire compound for the rest of this season. "Scuderia" want to do after experiencing many problems with the tire rubber at the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend.
Both Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa have difficulty in grip (grip) tires hard-and trouble is clear when Alonso effectively lost a lot of lap time with the leaders of the race at Barcelona when he was replaced.
Ferrari team principal, Stefano Domenicalli, told Autosport: "At least, you can not say that the Pirelli works for Ferrari ... have no doubt from the beginning that the company will ensure that the tires for the team will be perfect!"
"Now, in addition, we need to see what is next. We need to work very closely with them, to see if it's something right that we should have."
Domenicalli acknowledge that down force to be one thing that makes Ferrari's difficult to compete with Red Bull Racing. Nevertheless, he was not too sure what became the main picture is not pretty competitive team.
"We must be very careful," he said. "We've seen so many different things that happen in the first few races since the beginning. It is difficult to make an assessment at this time.
"What we see in Spain is a condition that requires maximum down force with and we do not have it! We have to multiply the hard fact that the tires could not make it work. Remember, Fernando led for 18 laps in 46 laps, so we were overtaken, lost about three seconds per lap. It's hard to explain.
"I must say that this is the worst race for us since the beginning in terms of speed. In the last few races we were fast, and it is shameful. But we have seen that everything is easy to change this year, and perhaps aspects of the tires have made a big difference.
"So, we need to be careful. We need to see where we are on the next series, when we have a different tire, which is much more delicate, and different configurations of the car. Then, we'll see where we are in the standings because we will not give up. "
Mercedes Confident in Spain

"For the race, we'll look better than in Turkey, because there (Turkey), I find it very difficult. Here, we as a whole trying to do a better job and look forward speed during the race are also better, although it would have no difficulty.
"In terms of tires, I feel better than Ferrari. I'm not too sure with McLaren."
About Red Bull, Schumacher said: "I think it is fair to say that the differences in record time in qualifying, will be very difficult to beat Red Bull.
"A car that is aerodynamic very tough, which Red Bull can show and prove on the type of tracks such as Barcelona. We own a team I can predict the top three or four, so it will fight with Ferrari, because I think the Red Bull driver and McLaren too strong for us.
"That, too, must be proven. Ferrari finally showed good performance, so it will be difficult for us against them."

Ferrari Rear Wing Was Ilegal - FIA
Ferrari did not feel any major impact on the FIA's decision, which prohibited them from using a new rear wing at the Spanish GP this weekend. Because the effect is very small.
On Saturday (05/21/2011), the International Automobile Federation (FIA) decided that the Ferrari's rear wing is illegal. That's because the extension of the cover rear wing is higher than normal so that violate the rules and the "Scuderia" asked to replace them.

"It was one of the new parts we have for this race. However, they decided that we should not use it so that we eliminate them," said the Spanish rider.
"This is the part that gives us a little change. However, we are talking about no more than half a tenth or so this is not a drama when I have to eliminate them."
Ferrari Technical Director Aldo Costa added, "We talk too much about this small detail. That is a detail so honest, it is not a big problem with or without it."
He also asserted, Ferrari believes the wing is still legal even though the FIA banned it.
"For us, the detail is legal. However, you have a lot of clarification with the FIA, many interpretations. There is a change of opinion so you can move on. It is a small detail and it was not a case that shook us when removed."
Indeed, Ferrari was forced to replace their rear wing on this Saturday after FIA consider it illegal. A day earlier, the FIA race director Charlie Whiting said the FIA to check more detailed wings that brought Ferrari back to the Catalunya Circuit.
"The wing is a very clever manifestation of the existing regulations. However, we must decide whether Ferrari's interpretation of the rules that do well without the benefit of regulatory gaps," said Whiting.

Finish in fourth position in the series opener in Australia, Alonso dropped his appearance in the next two series. At Sepang it only finish in sixth and seventh position in the Chinese Grand Prix.
Ferrari car that can not afford any such driving speed to compete Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel is so dominant or even Lewis Hamilton in his McLaren Mercedes.
Hope are rise eventually present in all four series this season, namely in Turkey last weekend. For the first time the Spaniard on the podium for the first time, after finishing third behind Vettel and Mark Webber.
In the race that Alonso and F60 car looks have started to compete with the RB7. So that's what Alonso's confidence grow when she competed in track champion this season.
Moreover, Alonso's experience last season was decreased in the third start of the season, before finally rising in the second half of the season. Unfortunately in the last series he failed to become champion.
"You know I play with the numbers and I traveled back and forth between home, Maranello and Turkey, I am comparing between the first four races last year and this season, to correspondent race," Alonso said as quoted by Autosport.
"This season we still have the remaining 15 series. It shows if you can see the same thing in two different views, although the two are opposites. The important thing is results and we can begin to go up to the podium," he continued.
"We must do it continuously and I'm sure if we will be able to compete again fighting champion title again," confident of F1 world champion twice that.

Expected More Over Taking in Spain
Shanghai Circuit in China, is one of the circuit with a long straight track which reached 17.1 meters. But the FIA (world motor racing federation) only permits the activation zone of Drag Reduction System (DRS) over 752 meters. The reason is because the zones are too long will make the process of overtaking so very easy to use flexible wing or DRS.
But do not be prejudiced first. 2011 season is a season full of surprises, the use of Drag Reduction System (DRS) aka flexible wing and the Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS) will certainly be things that would make F1 races in Spain (22 / 5) future be more exciting. Not to mention the strategic use of tires will be very influential because of the character of this circuit is fairly complex.
Catalunya circuit F1 event in Spain (22 / 5), it seems the FIA will not reduce rations DRS activation zone. Tracks straight, which is the starting line - the finish on the circuit is reportedly going to use the lane 830 yards straight as an activation zone of DRS. Thus from 4 series of Formula 1 that have been held this season, Spain will have the longest DRS activation zone.
The reason for extension of areas of activation along the 830-meter in the circuit, associated with the level of difficulty to overtake your opponent in Catalunya is very high. Profile circuit that is not too wide will make the rider is quite difficult to maneuver to overtake.
Of course F1 Spanish series will be one of the most exciting spectacle in the future. In addition to having high levels of difficulty to overtake the opponent, some fast corners also demanded precision better car to be as fast through that section
F1 assessed regulatory changes will make the race this weekend so different.
That's at least the belief voiced by a number of team bosses who competed in the arena 'Jet Land' this season. The existence of Drag Reduction System (DRS) and KERS predicted would make the Spanish Grand Prix to be more fierce.
"I think with the DRS all be possible," the Renault Team Principal on Planet F1 Eric Boullier, referring to his hopes to see a lot of overtaking.
"Mainly because aspects of tire decreasing, it needs an aggressive strategy that requires overtaking on the track and of course a good finish in the race," he added.
From McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh has ekspekstasi are not much different with Boullier about the significance of DRS and KERS race later in the process.
"In particular I am interested to see how the 2011 regulatory changes will affect the race on Sunday."
"We have seen how the DRS and the KERS hybrid has given effect in a race this season, so we'll see how the situation in Barcelona later given the previous Spanish Grand Prix already provide limited opportunities for overtaking," said Whitmarsh.
Williams Technical Director Sam Michael joined assess if previous Catalunya Circuit does not give much room for overtaking. It will not happen again this season.
"I'm sure there will be a lot of overtaking. With the condition of the tires and rear wing aspect should be so different. I think this is a very good test."
"In the past this was the worst track for overtaking affairs," Michael straightforward.
Last year Webber a winner in the series and the first Spanish driver led the standings after the F1 Monaco. Is this year's Mark Webber can look better? Hopefully.

Button Expect to Catch Red Bull
Jenson Button warned his team, McLaren, to quickly clean up since the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend in order to provide pressure for Red Bull.
Of the four series so far, through Sebastian Vettel Red Bull appeared very dominant. McLaren himself was showing signs of revival in China in the third series when Lewis Hamilton beat Vettel, but on the fourth series McLaren even back scattered.
With the results of four series so far, Vettel had topped the standings with 34 points from Hamilton's advantage is in second position. Button who finished his teammate Hamilton in the McLaren while behind 47 points from the defending champion.
"We must not remain silent, we must continue to move forward," said Button as reported by ESPN F1.
The main reason for not satisfying performance of the McLaren is the lack of updates on the MP4-26 because of reliability problems. This is what must be addressed by McLaren at this weekend at Catalunya.
"This team never gave up, I knew it, and I am very confident they will bring positive improvement to Barcelona."
"Red Bull is definitely fast and they have a lot of points this time, but that could all change quickly if you give them a big pressure. So we have to make sure can do it as quickly as possible," said Button.

Overtake in Istanbul Was A Record
Formula 1 this season more exciting with the increasing number of action marked the overtake each other. Action overtaking the Turkish GP even equal the old record in the number of overtaking in one race weekend.
As reported, citing Speedtv Down as Finnish media, there was 79 times the action precedes another in Istanbul Park last weekend.
The number is the same as the old record created in 1983 in Long Beach circuit. Racing success story when it characterized the McLaren duo of John Watson and Niki Lauda who finished the sequence 1-2.
Up to four series that has been running in this season, a total of more than 200 times the action of overtaking. The amount is nearly half of the total number of overtaking in the championship the previous edition.
Simply take action ahead of each other on the one hand it brings a complaint. Virgin racer Timo Glock considered that the DRS system greatly facilitates the driver to go ahead of his opponent.
"When you is between one second with the driver in front of you, the opportunity to pass very large. In Istanbul, it almost certainly happen," he said as reported by Sport1.
"It may be more interesting again if the zone where you can use the rear wing was reduced in number."
But technical boss Mike Gascoyne Lotus have a different opinion. "There are a number of complaints about the actions of overtake too much, which complaint was truly extraordinary for us to hear," he writes in a column in the Telegraph.
"Indeed you can not satisfy all people at all times. But we are here to race and, most importantly, we present a number of quality races."

With the results of this fourth series, Vettel firmly on top of the standings with a total of 93 points, followed by Hamilton, who collected 59 points and Webber 55 points. Although the competition is still very long, if performed consistently, Vettel has a tremendous opportunity to re-jet racing event rule this land.
The race drama
When the five red lights went out, the driver started his car immediately. Vettel did a very good start with so that he can maintain his position as leader of the course of the race, so also with Rosberg who directly poke into second from third position, when out of the corner 2. Behind a row there are Webber and Alonso.
Lewis Hamilton started the race with less well, widening and slipped to sixth, behind team-mate Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso. Start interesting.
As expected, Vettel continues to widen the gap with its nearest competitor. On the second lap, he was 1.2 seconds ahead of Rosberg.
Sergio Perez had to go to Pitstop on the second lap to replace the front nose of his Sauber car damaged in the collision.
Inserting the third lap, Michael Schumacher, who was able to ascend to the seventh on a single strip, touched with Renault driver, Vitaly Petrov. In the corner 12, Petrov tried to push from the inside so that it comes in contact with Schumacher, who made front wing Mercedes German rider was damaged and he must enter the pit to make repairs.
Meanwhile, Webber continues to overshadow Rosberg to retake the second position they occupy at start. In the back, Felipe Massa, who started from 10th position, managed to overtake Petrov to rank seventh.
Fourth lap, Hamilton tried to use DRS to catch his team mate, Jenson Button, at the corner 12. However, the 2008 world champion was unable to pass through. McLaren duo is still behind champion Ferrari, Alonso.
On the sixth lap, Webber effort to fruition. Using DRS, the Australian rider to easily pass Rosberg's Mercedes, so he went back to its original position when making a start. While Vettel is comfortable in the leading position even further with 4.4 seconds time difference.
Rosberg continued to push and position the German rider was down again one ranking when Alonso passed. Again, the DRS which makes Rosberg unable to compete because on the eighth lap the Ferrari driver was using a hyper speed of the car to go up to third. Previously, on the seventh lap, Hamilton managed to chase Button so that he occupies the position of fifth and sixth Button.
On lap 10 Massa and Hamilton in unison into Pitstop, Hamilton first worked out very thin. Pitstop racing also occurs between Webber and Alonso, but Webber win and still come out first.
Lap 12, entered the pit after Webber Vettel, Alonso and Rosberg did. This makes Button led the way race and more than a second ahead of Vettel, who not too long to spend time. Webber occupied the third position, followed by Alonso. Two laps later, Button's turn that into a pit so that Vettel was back in the forefront and return the distance to 2.9 seconds of Webber and Alonso.
Renault's two drivers, Nick Heidfeld and Petrov, involved nudge the wheel to wheel around the corner. Button signed Pitstop on lap 13, Vettel led again. Rosberg again defeated, this time by Hamilton.
On lap 15 Schumacher caught between Kobayashi and Adrian Sutil, and should go down a rank. Meanwhile, Webber continues to accelerate and stay within three seconds with Vettel.
Entering the 20 th lap, the distance among others increasingly tenuous. Hamilton, who are fourth, 16 seconds adrift of Vettel. Apparently, Hamilton's McLaren car speed can not compensate for Red Bull is very powerful. In fifth position, Rosberg continued to come under pressure from Massa.
In the front position, Vettel barely get resistance. With a soft tire, the champion of the world continue rising and 8.5 seconds ahead of Alonso as he entered lap 23, after Webber entered the pit on lap 22. However, Alonso's position did not last long because on the 24th lap to turn him into a pit so that Webber was back behind his team mate and Alonso dropped to third place when returning to the track racing.
Entering lap 36, Webber entered the pit again for using hard tires, as well as with Alonso, who immediately followed by a similar strategy. When out, Alonso was in front of Webber's so 2005 and 2006 world champion is in second with 1.8 seconds difference.
However, it is difficult for him to pursue Vettel because it was superior to 25 seconds. Button's fourth place is occupied, followed by Buemi. Meanwhile, Hamilton had dropped to sixth position after a bad pit stop made by McLaren.
Vettel was then entered the pit on lap 40 and still lead the way race after exit. He was 7.1 seconds ahead of Alonso as the race entered lap 43. Do not want to do gambling, Vettel returned to the pit stop on lap-47 to replace the tire. Nevertheless, he remained in front after a pit which is also the fourth-last in this race.
In the back, Hamilton continued to improve the position. On lap 50, the British driver managed to poke into fourth place after passing Button, who actually got the threat of Rosberg. Yes, Rosberg has the potential to catch, let alone the Mercedes driver was faster after using a new soft tire replacement.
On lap 52, there are enough thrilling battle between Alonso and Webber in the race for second place. Apparently Webber who can utilize the advantages of using DRS as it approached the braking area because he managed to pass the Ferrari driver was. Although Alonso tried to catch up again at the next corner, Red Bull's Webber was too tough and back in front again, which makes the team bearing the bull is in the position 1-2.
Vettel was in victory lane for five laps remaining when the race again, he was 8.2 seconds ahead of Webber. Just bad luck that could stem the Vettel to fail on the fourth series of Formula 1 2011. Sure enough, he touched the finish line first, followed by Webber and Alonso.
