Low Fuel Frustrate Hamilton

Finish in fourth position, Lewis Hamilton could actually be on the podium at the British GP. But because they have to economize fuel instead he was almost overtaken Felipe Massa in the final corner.

Despite a poor qualifying, Hamilton looked promising in the British Grand Prix. Jumped directly after the start, McLaren Mercedes had a chance to fight with Fernando Alonso to fight over the front position.

But the British rider rate of speed suddenly disappear at the end of the race. Webber passed Hamilton looks easy, it was caused by fuel which is depleted and he had to downsize in order to finish the race.

Former world champion was even nearly finished the race in fifth as Felipe Massa pass him around the corner almost last. An exciting battle between the two ultimately ensure Hamilton touched the finish line first.

"Unfortunately at the end of the race, about 21 laps before completion, I have to save fuel. Fabulous frugality. So I had to give his position on Webber, and then on the last lap they (the team) told me that I should hit. I say thank you because I've let the masses do. But I do not give him that position, it will not, "Hamilton mention in Autosports.

Hamilton followed what happened at Silverstone has been frustrating for him. Moreover, at the same time the cars Ferrari and Red Bull seem experiencing the same problems as him.

"Yeah, because you will always try to race to the maximum and of course I think the drivers in front of me, Ferrari and Red Bull. It seems they do not have fuel efficient. This is definitely not something positive for us."

"Merela (team) told me to do it, but I want to make sure if I did not do too little or too much (in save fuel). I do not want to save too much fuel and want to make sure I can defend my position," Hamilton finished .
