Redbull Expect Webber to Continues

Mark Webber became victims of the Red Bull Racing team orders in Formula One races at Silverstone, England, Sunday (07/10/2011). Although it has a chance on the podium number two, Webber had orders to "succumb" to his team mate, Sebastian Vettel, who eventually became the runner-up behind the Ferrari, Fernando Alonso.

Events at Silverstone Circuit that led to speculation that Webber would soon leave when his contract finished at the end of this season. However, Red Bull boss Christian Horner, still hopes that the Australian rider was not hurt and want to extend the contract until the 2012 season.

Indeed, since the beginning of the race Webber had to face unpleasant things. He got ahead of the ban for Vettel, who currently leads the standings. Nevertheless, Webber ignores the command several times that it almost passes Vettel.

Top of the competition took place on the last lap. Webber pushed his car so loud several times seen the fight that a meeting with Vettel. This makes the Red Bull team to be quiet so no re-do team orders (the fourth time) in order to keep their distance and let Webber Vettel finished second.

This situation makes efforts to maintain Webber Red Bull would be deadlocked. In fact, Horner and Webber still is in talks to renew the contract so that the rider can remain a tandem Vettel on the upcoming season. Nonetheless, Horner hope everything can go smoothly.

"I hope not," Horner said when asked whether the incident at Silverstone could be interrupted plans Red Bull. "However, in the end all for the sake of the team. I can understand that sometimes a rider will be frustrated by an instruction, but it is my responsibility to convince the team achieve good results."

"And, absolutely no profit for the second car in case of collision, as we also witnessed between Hamilton and Massa on the final lap."

Yes, Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa also fought very fiercely competing for fourth spot. Even entering the final corner before the finish, they are a little nudge that makes the masses involved have to decide to expand to be a little out of the track. Alonso's teammate this had to be content to finish in fifth place.

In the same occasion, Horner also gives an explanation of the decision making team orders. In fact, it (team orders) is that had he so hated to be the most harshly criticized when ordered Massa Ferrari yield to Alonso to be a winner at Hockenheim last year.

According to Horner, there was no choice for him to face this situation at Silverstone. Team order is made solely for the sake of the team so that both driver not involved in nudge.

Prompted responses about the latest claims the boss of Red Bull, Dietrich Mateschitz, that the team would not impose team orders, Horner replied, "Mr. Mateschitz will not thank us because the two cars collided on the last lap, with so many points that we have to get a very good position. "

"If you can see, we did not stop them to fight in the beginning of the race. But there comes a time in a race, with the remaining two or three laps, when you have a lot of points, and both cars were on the podium, there should be a decision to do so. It is it is foolish to let them continue to fight. "

"We see them very, very close. So, we will look rather foolish if ultimately they are the two attacked each other."
