The International Automobile Federation, FIA, was formally set calendar Formula 1 (F1) 2012 season. They also confirmed that the Turkish GP in Istanbul, has been removed from the schedule for next season.
The resolution was reached after a vote of the limbs World Motor Sport Council (WMSC), with 20 series that will be held, starting from Australia on 18 March, and ends in Brazil on November 25.
Turkey, which recombine in the F1 calendar in 2005, should be removed because statistical data is not satisfactory. During the seventh edition of the race there, there was no significant development, because of high ticket prices, which makes the enthusiasm of the audience to witness firsthand the very small - that is, no big surprises from this event, despite the well-known riders and teams, did not dominate again.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit, which in the 2011 season was canceled because of the political temperature of the heat in the country, back into the calendar. Sakhir will host on April 22.
There is a new series next season, namely the United States GP Austin, Texas. Racing over there will take place on November 18, the penultimate series, which will be held just seven days before the last series in Interlagos, Brazil.
In the 2012 season schedule this summer vacation can actually enjoyed it because there was no racing during the month of August. Only thing that contrast occurred in July, September, October and November, because there are three series of her every month.
