Senior rider Rubens Barrichello urged his team, the Williams team, to find the root problems that make the FW33 car was not capable of driving as fast as the other rider, on Thursday (08/11/2011) in London. If it does not immediately solve the underlying problem, then the target of the Williams team in 2011 season would not be achieved.
Currently, Williams ranks ninth of the 12 existing teams with four points below the team Force India and Toro Rosso. As for Barrichello finished 17th of 27 riders with four points, while teammate Pastor Maldonado, was at number 21 despite not picking any one number.
Of the eleven series which have been held, the Williams team entered only three times in the ranks of the top ten at start. All the good starting position was produced by Pastor Maldonado, Venezuela rider but it still can not print the numbers.
Compared to last year's achievement, achievement this year is very bad. Last year, Williams collected 31 points and reach the sixth. Barrichello also collected 17 points.
"We have Sam Michael on Mike Coughlan and engineering division will come next year. So, should we use Sam to do something this year. We need to improve on this damn car," said Barrichello.
Barrichello said the Williams team must address the underlying problem, not just keep testing and experimenting, then expect to get points. Tim Williams will only be on the podium if 15 riders out of the track.
"There is a problem in his car. If we just cover up the problem and not address the cause, then we will not win. Tim Williams did not give a new thing," said Barrichello.
