Mercedes team hopes the former world champion Michael Schumacher could do well in F1 Belgian series, to celebrate 20 years of Schumacher's career in F1.
Spa-Francorchamps circuit character who dominated the straight path length and high-speed corners, is expected to help Schumacher achievement.
"Members of our team was refreshed after the holidays, and prepared for the race at Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Circuit design fits with our technical package, and hopefully better than the two previous series," said Mercedes team boss, Norbert Haug, on Monday in London.
Haug hopes, Schumacher achieve the best performance in Belgium, in order to be a reward for their work in F1 warning. Schumacher started his career with a rider competing in Spa-Francorchamps circuit in 1991.
"Competition in Spa-Francorchamps circuit to give a special touch for me, because I follow F1's first in this circuit, 20 years ago. A lot of changes over the past 20 years, but the trajectory still sensational. I love the natural character of the circuit up and down," said Schumacher.
For Schumacher, Spa-Francorchamps is the "family room" for being the arena of various competitions throughout his racing career. Therefore, Schumacher thank all the fans who had supported since 20 years ago.
Schumacher also promised to print the achievements in Belgium, which will be remembered as the achievement after 20 years in F1.
