After surgery to restore the right-hand elbow success, Renault F1 driver, Robert Kubica, is now undergoing rehabilitation period. Renault team explained, Kubica still must undergo a final operation to restore full motion in his right elbow on Sunday (28/08/2011).
Kubica suffered a life-threatening accident on the Rally rally round in Andorra, February 6. After going through a series of operations, Kubica is now living in trouble with his right elbow.
"Kubica had to leave the operating room. Luckily I was able to confirm a successful operation. Elbow joints have been repaired and functioning properly," said Daniele Morelli, manager of Kubica.
Morelli said Kubica needs to undergo one more surgery to restore his elbow in total. The fate of 26-year-old rider will become more apparent after mid-October.
"No need to think about things too far this time. The important Kubica recovered again and have the ability to follow the race anymore," Morelli said.
